Do You Know Your 4 Letter Word?

Maybe you’ve seen it, maybe you’ve heard of it. I, for one, have heard from my friend’s who have online dating profiles that many people are now listing their results from personality assessments as a part of their bio. This is an attempt to quickly and concisely give people a way to know you more intimately, and in diving deeper into Myers Briggs over the last year, I see the value more and more in sharing these four little letters. What I am calling, “your 4 letter word…” 

Your unique 4 letter word is such a simple acronym that can hold powerful insight. Each letter is a peek into someone’s personality, but beyond that, it also gives you the keys to communicating with someone more compassionately, connecting with them more deeply, appreciating their quirks and gifts, and more. Just like other 4 letter words, they have the capacity to pack a punch, and it’s about what you do with that information, that energy. How do you convert it to be used for good and for strengthening bonds, rather than being used against others.
