Earning a degree in Contemplative Psychology of Health and Healing, and becoming trained in authentic leadership styles, she was naturally drawn to companies and brands with deep values for social responsibility.

Throughout her career, Mary embraced a leadership style that worked to serve her teams small and large. This approach not only helped team members individually thrive, but also empowered the organizations she was a part of to grow exponentially. Using her strengths in servant leadership, marketing, operational organization and forming sales strategies, Mary managed these emerging organizations, many in the natural food sector, see up to 10x sales increases.

Mary currently is the Cohost of The Third Place Podcast, Business Development Director for La Terza Coffee, Founder of Five Element LLC, Mentor for the Eating Disorder Foundation, and most recently, a Cofounder of The ELLEment Collective, a platform is designed to equip our young females with the ability to identify, embrace, and articulate their unique experience in this world. She has embraced her life’s deep experiences with trauma, internal growth and knowing, holistic wellness and empathy and used these experiences to help young women learn and grow with The ELLEment Collective.

Mary is a devoted mom, passionate yogi, and avid mountain biker who loves nature, is obsessed with beverage and driven by community. You’ll often find her sharing a beverage with friends new and old, outside in the clean air and mountainous background of Colorado.

David Gaines is the CEO and Chief Visionary for La Terza Coffee, a full service coffee resource that provides the highest quality coffee for consumers, equipment and education for restaurants and coffee shops.

David has a grounding energy that is driven by the golden rule in every aspect of his life.

Throughout his many entrepreneurial endeavors, David has always put serving others as the highest purpose. From customers to team members, the local community and even competition, he continues to wrestle with the questions of how to empower the collective. Even when choices are hard and the right thing to do is the difficult, less traveled path, David never strays from his values and has seen his businesses prosper as a result.

David leads by example. He has become a mentor and coach to many. He has a unique ability to inspire vision to those around him while also remaining balanced as a steadfast and consistent leader. His servant leadership approach has afforded him many opportunities to guide individuals and teams alike to achieve their greatest potential.

David currently is Chief Visionary and CEO for La Terza Coffee, Chairperson of the Board for Social Enterprise Alliance, Cohost of The Third Place Podcast, and the Cofounder of Podcast Publishing House. He is admittedly an idealist that dreams of a world where all businesses are social enterprises and where people are equally valued, served, and empowered.
